Baseball age is how old you will be on July 31st of this year

T-Ball League (5-6 year olds):

Players will use the batting tee to hit the ball. A soft baseball size ball will be used for safety. As the season progresses, the coach may elect to pitch to those who are ready while keeping the game flowing in a timely manner. Ten players can be on the field at the same time. All players receive equal playing time. All players will bat each inning and no score will be kept. No new inning will begin after 50 minutes of play. This league is for fun and the basic fundamentals of baseball will be taught. The fee for this league is $25.00. Each participant receives a T-shirt and hat. Play begins the first week of June with games being played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Coach Pitch League (7-8 year olds):

This league is designed to be the next step after T-ball. A soft baseball size ball will be used for safety. Coaches will pitch to the batters and call balls and strikes. Players will have the opportunity to develop & improve their skills. All players will be in the batting line up and receive equal playing time. Three outs or five runs end an inning, with no new inning beginning after 50 Minutes of play. The fee for this league is $25.00. Each participant receives a T-shirt and a hat. Play begins the first week of June with games being played on Wednesday and Friday nights.

Minor League (9-10 year olds):

At nine years old players move to the Minor League. They will be placed on teams by a coach's draft. The draft will be held on Thursday, May 10th at 6:45 p.m. at Elk Ridge Park. Please be there! Everyone who signs up will be placed on a team. A ten-year old may try out for the Major League if he chooses, but must attend both Major and Minor League drafts. Regular Little League rules will be played with only a few exceptions. Players begin to pitch at this level. Returning players who played in the minors last year do not need to come to the draft. They will be placed on the same team as last year (unless they move up to the Major League). The fee for this league is $40.00. Each participant receives a shirt & hat, which is theirs to keep. Participants must furnish their own gray baseball pants. Play begins the first week of June with games being played on Wednesday and Friday nights. A 10 game schedule will be played.

Major League (11-12 year olds):

In the Major League regular Little League rules will be played. Players will be placed on a team by a coach's draft. The draft will be held on Thursday, May 10th at 5:30 p.m. at Elk Ridge Park. Those players who played in the majors last year do not need to come to the draft. Returning players will be placed on the same team they played on last year. Everyone who signs up will be placed on a team. The fee for this league is $40.00. Each participant receives a shirt & hat, which is theirs to keep. Participants must furnish their own gray baseball pants Play begins toward the end of May with games being played on Tuesday and Thursday nights. A 10-12 game schedule will be played.

Pony League (13-14 year olds):

We will be fielding one Pony League team this year unless there is enough interest for two. Teams play in the Cache Valley Pony League and will travel to games as far away as Montpelier and Preston. More advanced rules are used at this level. The first Pony League practice will be held Tuesday, April 24th at 5:30 p.m. at Elk Ridge Park. Everyone who signs up should plan on being there. If there is enough players for two teams the selection of teams will be formed by a coach's draft. The first fourteen players that sign up will be assured a place on a team. The rest will be placed on a waiting list in hopes we have enough for a second team. The fee for this league is $50.00. Each participant receives a shirt & hat, which is theirs to keep. Participants must furnish their own gray baseball pants. Play begins the second week in May. A 16-game schedule, plus a tournament will be played.

Girls Softball (9-12 year olds):

This league is Slow Pitch Softball. General slow pitch rules with a few exceptions will be used. The fee for this league $25.00. Each participant receives a T-shirt. Play begins the first or second week of June. Games will be played on Thursday's with a 6-8 game schedule being played.

ALL OF THE LEAGUES OFFERED THROUGH NORTH LOGAN CITY ARE TO BE A FUN LEARNING EXPERIENCE. AS THE LEAGUES PROGRESS, COMPETITION NATURALLY INCREASES. EACH LEAGUE INCLUDES TEAMS FROM NORTH LOGAN & HYDE PARK. THE MINOR & MAJOR LEAGUE INCLUDES TEAMS FROM NORTH LOGAN, HYDE PARK AND SMITHFIELD. THE PONY LEAGUE INCLUDES TEAMS FROM ALL OVER THE VALLEY.
