We, the mutants that are the Tower Ravens, love to take our game, Universe, the Sci-Fi RPG, on the road. Conventions are our staple in life, without them, we will wither and die. We have scads of short convention adventures designed to be run in small time slots (typically 4-6 hours) that we take with us. Below are some of our favourites. But first, a list of of conventions where we've victimized gamers: ConQuest | DunDraCon | KublaCon | Running Gagg | Game Storm | Origins | Uny-Con |

What's That Green Stuff?! By Michael Wilkinson Your starship makes a regular run to a remote mining station in the Valus Star System. Sequestered in the rings of Vokkor, a gas giant orbiting the star, is a covert mining facility. You don't know what is mined there, but you're on the crew that makes the cargo runs. Your starship is one that doesn't draw much attention; it is noisy and constantly in need of repair. You don't mind, because the pay is really good. Six months, one week, and four days ago, you left your home port, and the ship just arrived at its destination. While you are taking on cargo, engines number 6 and 8 will need some unscheduled maintenance. The extra work on the ship will really help break up the monotony of space travel, but you'll miss having time away from the ship. Maybe, with a little luck, you'll at least have time to get some real food at their cafeteria. |

Red Tape By William Pace & Michael Wilkinson The Slate Moon Murders Take a civilian murder, a suspicious chemical accident, and a kidnapped child. Combine the logistical nightmares of the local security, the national police, the military, and your own multi-national jurisdiction and you're well on your way to an intra-galactic incident. Your biggest concern, however, is the paperwork after it's all over. |

Engaging the Frontier By Markus Wilkinson I have an ominous feeling. I feel morbid wonder, as if I'm surveying a battlefield in the clearing smoke. Everything I own is in the heavy duffel bag on my shoulder. In front of me is an old deep space crusier. It is the tomb from which I will be reborn. Clinging to my back is the past. As I take this new life, I wonder...will the life behind me hibernate? As my heavy boot hits the aluminum ramp to the ship, I know the answer. The ring of metal is the flat-line of my younger heart. As I step forward, the weight on my back slides to the ground. Ahead lies the future of all humanity: the frontier. |

Blood, Sweat & Tears By Michael Wilkinson For the past two Jen you've worked as a supervisor for the Summa Mining Corporation overseeing the extrication of radioactive ore from a small moon. Pressure from the execs has required you to assign lots of overtime, which the workers have begrudgingly born. But not today; they claim "something's down there." Now, the execs are demanding a resolution to this problem. |

Zar Tacla By Markus Wilkinson The high-security prison Zar Tacla is in the midst of a major security problem: Inmates have taken the prison staff hostage. To make matters worse, all the inmates of Zar Tacla are on death row. Where you come from, vacations last longer than a stay at Zar Tacla. Your tactical weapons corps is being sent in. Your mission? Protect the hostage negotiator. The reality? Enforce your nation's zero-tolerance crime policy. |

The Bends By William Pace Spinning in the backwaters of space is an almost landless planet; Yamakai, the Wet World. Vital to space travel, its oceans hold wealth untold and secrets unrevealed. The abundance of food and water will fuel the needs of explorers for years to come. Some things are too good to be true... |

Always Faithful By Michael Wilkinson You are an elite soldier in the Supremacy National Army, the SNA. Your powered armored infantry unit has been mobilized to combat a dissident faction of the SNA, who seized control of the Harrana Foothills. You don't care if you win; you are a slave owned by the SNA. The soldiers you are sent to kill are also slaves owned by the SNA, and they are your kinsmen. With a torture device buried deep in your skull, you are compelled to be always faithful. |

Piece of Mind By Markus Wilkinson Living on the frontier always appealed to you. It was a chance to get away from the crowds, the crime, the pollution, and the grind. Without much of an education or any savings, you left as an indentured servant. It's a great deal really. You are traveling with a corporation to establish a very large resort on the planet Vinalius. You must work for them for two years, but they take care of travel, room and board, plus you get a small stipend. When you arrive in the Yethic Solar System, you immediately set down on Vinalius, and there is trouble. There is enough trouble that the resort might be shut down before it is completed. That means your contract will be shut down along with it. The fine print you missed leaves you unemployed, homeless, and marooned. To make matters worse, the colonists have no love for corporate types. |

Omala Quarantine By Markus Wilkinson The Kenebrieus plague mutated, and a new strain emerged. About 10 years ago the new plage struck. Within a matter of days, the town of Genhev was in the middle of an epidemic. Like its predecessor, this new plague required an unconventional treatment with bad side effects. To prevent further spread of the plague from its survivors, they were transplanted to the remote, abandoned mining complex Omala. A starship from Omala recently ran the blockade and escaped to hyperspace. Her course was projected and you've been sent to intercept as she drops out. The ship is to be returned with her passengers unharmed. |
